3. Indications and Dosage

Indications:Hypertension, angina.

The usual adult dose of amlodipine is 2.5 to 5 mg once daily by mouth. The dose may be increased based on symptoms, up to a maximum of 10 mg once daily. OD tablets may be allowed to dissolve in the mouth and then swallowed with saliva, or they may be swallowed with water.
