Japan Urocalun Tablets (Urocalun) 225 mg: 100 tablets—Urinary Tract Stones, Kidney Stones, Stone Fragmentation, Willow and Oak Extract Capsules—No Surgery Required

Per tablet　225 mg of Japanese white oak extract.

Additives: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, cross-linked sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, light anhydrous silica, talc, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, refined white sugar, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide, stearic acid, yellow iron(III) oxide.

A pale yellow, oblong, film-coated tablet.

Promotes the passage of kidney stones and ureteral stones.

Usually, take 2 tablets at a time, 3 times a day by mouth. The dosage may be adjusted based on age and symptoms.

This product inhibits the formation of stones and dissolves existing ones; it also has anti-inflammatory and diuretic effects, thereby promoting the passage of kidney and ureteral stones.

Calcium phosphate stones dissolve when urine perfused with an extract containing this compound (in vitro). In rats, oral administration has been shown to inhibit stone formation and promote dissolution. It can suppress footpad edema, increased vascular permeability, and pleurisy. A transient increase in urine output has been observed in rabbits and patients with urinary tract stones.

Domestic Double-Blind Comparative Trial　When defined as the passage and descent of stones, the efficacy rate was 79.21 TP3T (42/53). Side effects occurred in 35.81 TP3T (19/53) of patients, primarily gastrointestinal disturbances (17.01 TP3T), thirst (15.11 TP3T), and constipation (11.31 TP3T).

Urajiro-gashi extract is derived from the white-backed oak Quercus salicina Blume or Narrow-leaved Oak Quercus stenophylla Makino: Extract of twigs and leaves. A brown to dark brown powder with a characteristic odor and a bitter taste. Dissolves in water, leaving the solution slightly cloudy.
